Intralogistics automation company NIDO Group aims to achieve revenues of Rs 700 crore by March 2027. Nirav Doshi, Managing Director, NIDO Group, revealed the company’s expansion strategy, stating that while the primary revenue sources are Tier-I markets, NIDO Group is experiencing increasing demand from warehouses in smaller towns like Amritsar, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Agra, Dibrugarh, and Tiruchi. This expanded reach positions the company to surpass the Rs 700-crore revenue target soon.
The company recently disrupted the warehouse automation industry by introducing its innovative ASTRO ecosystem. Doshi described ASTRO as transformative for businesses, particularly SMEs and MSMEs, adding that it will redefine warehouse automation across various sectors, including direct-to-consumer, third-party logistics, e-commerce, and last-mile delivery. NIDO Group has patented this cutting-edge technology, marking a significant milestone.
Technological advancements, especially automation and robotics, have driven a profound transformation in the warehousing industry. Doshi highlighted the impact of integrated automated guided vehicles (AGVs), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and robotic pickers in boosting efficiency and enabling 24/7 operations. He emphasised the role of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) in optimising order fulfillment and enhancing accuracy in demand forecasting. Additionally, he noted the influence of IoT sensors, AI, and machine learning in improving inventory management and operational efficiency.
Anticipating significant growth in Tier-II and Tier-III cities due to the rise of e-commerce and increased internet accessibility in rural areas, Doshi outlined their focus on these local markets. With a customer base exceeding 2,500 nationwide, NIDO Group operates across three verticals – machinery, automation, and robotics, positioning itself as an innovative solutions provider in the industry.
